Today, ETA is Turkey's leading software firm with more than 60,000 customers, 1000 resellers and 200 staff members in four offices nationwide. This success has its roots in the vision of ETA's founders to move toward  commercial applications at a time when all computers were seen as items of luxury.
As for ETA Integrated Software Products, our programs have paved the way for the Turkish software industry ever since our first version hit the markets. 
All of our  products operate seamlessly on all operating systems and hardware configurations.
 Tens of thousands of customers around the country trust ETA with their computerized  accounting needs. We have a bright future ahead of us with a rich product and  customer portfolio envied by many reputable software firms at home and abroad. Our success stems from the fact that we only do what we know best and we work hard on what we love to do.

ETA'S STORY
ETA was founded in Ortaköy, İstanbul in 1984 by Adnan Sabri Koru and Bülent Tepebağ. 
The young firm first specialized in hotel automation software, but the founders soon  realized Turkey's move toward computerized accounting and decided to create a complete and lasting system in this field.
Koru and Tepebağ's computer experience and their background in engineering came together to create the first ETA Integrated Software Package known for its excellence. ETA met a tough challenge in customers  and market trends new to computers, but steadily gained speed and strength to reach  today's high standards. 
ETA currently operates out of its main office at Şişli Samanyolu Sokak and has reached out to all corners of the country with three offices in  Ankara,İzmir, Konya and an efficient network of resellers. 
ETA leads the Turkish software industry with Version 6, the most comprehensive commercial application system operating under DOS, Version 7 ETA for Graphics, the only graphics-based program operating under DOS and ETA for Windows, the first commercial application program package designed for Windows. For those of you who wonder, the name ETA comes from the Greek letter denoting efficiency in engineering.

ETA'S MISSION
Turkey looks to the West for new software as in all fields requiring new technology. Thus it is with great pride that we watch a Turkish product be preferred for its high quality and up-to-date content. 
ETA considers it a mission to create and to maintain a  software package to provide a quality alternative to foreign software brands.
Accounting applications which make up most of our product portfolio require constant attention to detail with the changes in Turkish fiscal procedures and legislature. We continue research and development on all of our programs to ensure perfection. We  have developed specialized programs and office automation products in order to better serve a wide range of customers from CPA's to large corporations with offices around the country. We pass on years of experience to our customers with every single program we produce.

is a closeknit and dynamic group brought together around a common goal. They are encouraged and trained to maintain ETA's leading role in Turkey's technological frontier. 
ETA, with its resellers as partners in service and with its  customers as the sole reason for existence, is a big family. With a modern and innovative approach to personnel management, ETA places great importance on human values and achievements. 
Company hierarchy is replaced by a  commitment to serve. This may be why those who know us are not surprised when we  celebrate birthdays instead of sale quotas.

ETA'S Departments
ETA has organized its staff to ensure success in all services provided ranging from sales, research and development to production. ETA aims to serve its customers and resellers with its well-organized staff specializing in their respective fields, yet joining their efforts for ETA's overall advancement.

The Research and Development Team lends support to the Software Development Team through its research on market trends for new software prior to release and its development efforts based on customer needs and comments following the release of new programs. 
The Reseller Support Team provides constant service and support to the more than 1000 resellers nationwide, organizes the related activities and maintains control over the training centers. 
The Training and Support Team provides initial training to the customers upon purchase, gives technical support as well as training and testing customers on a regular basis.
The Public Relations Team organizes company activities, fields inquiries from and provides information to the press and the customers, publishes the quarterly company magazine and the monthly newsletter. 
The Install Team provides the customers with the necessary numerical passwords to pass the initial protection of the program. 
The Accounting Team oversees the financial aspect of the company. 
The Sales and Marketing Team provides support to the resellers in all areas regarding product research and marketing strategies. 
The Production Team fills the orders from customers and resellers, checks the program diskettes and ships them around the country. 
The Software Development Team is in charge of all aspects of software development including programming, updating, testing and research.

ETA has designed and implemented a special orientation program in order to make sure all staff members achieve a high standard in the service provided. 
All personnel are subject to this program as part of their initial training. This program involves many issues including answering the phones effectively, sales techniques, customer satisfaction and it is followed by a series of tests. 
ETA's personnel strives to reach a point where they not only know all the programs closely, but also manage to provide services of the highest quality. The program is supported by ongoing in-house training sessions.
ETA's personnel attends both in-house seminars designed specifically with the needs of ETA customers in mind and other related training programs outside the company.

ETA's Personel Orientiation Program
ETA has also designed a package of unique written material on various topics to help with the training of its staff. Our orientation program and materials have been studied and applauded by the press. ETA's exemplary vision is that of a service provider as well as that of a software house. 
ETA has focused its efforts on providing high quality service as well as products. Our notion of service begins with the prospective customer's initial request to see a demo of our programs. The customer's needs are determined by ETA's resellers or our sales staff and they become a member of our extended family as soon as they purchase one of our products. All customers gain access to training and service free of charge when their programs  are installed. In addition to initial training, they are provided with seminars presented  at ETA's head office to ensure full satisfaction through efficient use of our products.

ETA employs special customer satisfaction officers to solve problems which may arise during the use of its programs. A special customer satisfaction procedure is in place to  meet demands from customers.

ETA polls its customers on a regular basis to determine their needs and to solve any problems that may arise. ETA is well aware that its well-deserved reputation is a result  of its efforts to satisfy all customers.

ETA'S Journey

Version 6
Version 6 has served ETA customers with its solid reputation and reasonable prices  and is already a classic. It is the most comprehensive integrated software package  operating under DOS. Version 6 is the result of fourteen years of experience and it has become the industry  standard with 42 different programs. All programs are updated on a regular basis  according to customer demands and changes in legislature.
Version 7
Version 7 is considered as the pinnacle of programs operating under DOS. 
With Version 7, ETA aims to meet all commercial needs by designing individual yet fully  integrated programs and modules. It has been specially designed to allow graphics  capabilities under DOS and it serves a wide range of customers with commercial  applications, specialized solutions and office automation products.

ETA for Windows
ETA for Windows has been designed as a software package for the 21st century with  its compatibility with future technologies. It is the first and most comprehensive  program package specifically designed for Windows in Turkey. ETA's expertise in  commercial applications and the capabilities of the Windows 95,98,NT and Win2000  operating system come together to form the most advanced integrated software  package serving daily applications.

All of our customers may request on-site assistance five days a week during business  hours. 
Free Training
Special instructors train customers and resellers free of charge in the training center  located at ETA's head office. This center is equipped with modern hardware and  teaching tools to ensure high quality of instruction.

Reseller Training and Support
Our resellers are trained by a special team of ETA personnel and receive support in all  matters. The needs of the resellers are met through meetings and seminars held nationwide.   The progress and performance of the resellers is closely monitored.

ETA World
A rich quarterly magazine reaches all ETA customers, ETA resellers and the
 computing community with news of upcoming activities, new products, special
 features on fiscal procedures and legislature and columns by experts. The magazine is  distributed free of charge.

A specially designed website allows users and enthusiasts from all over the world to  reach ETA around the clock. This popular site is one of the first by Turkish software   houses and provides up-to-date information on all of our programs, current legislature,  press releases and upcoming activities, as well as allowing resellers to acce latest   changes in our software.

ETA's Networks of Resellers
ETA has long realized the need to form a well-designed web of resellers across the  nation in order to market its products, reach out to prospective customers and to  support users. 
Today, ETA serves as one with its resellers, who are important  members of the ETA family. 
ETA accepts new resellers on two levels and requires that  strict quality conditions are met in all areas. All resellers are required to employ  special support personnel who have been trained and tested exclusively by ETA. 
All  reseller personnel must also attend ongoing training. The basis of ETA's reseller network is complete customer satisfaction. A special team closely monitors the service provided by the resellers and supports their efforts. ETA continues to serve its customers with more than 1000 active resellers in Turkey and in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. 
ETA's resellers also contribute to  ETA's software development with their technical feedback.

ETA's Civil Duties
ETA is well aware of the responsibilities brought on by being a leader in society. It continues to contribute to social causes as well as sponsor sports and cultural  activities.
Successful race car drivers Hızır Gürel, Serdar Bostancı and Emre Ergör  have won many championships with ETA as their sponsor. 
An international  photography contest and exhibition co-organized by ETA and İFSAK in 1992 has  brought together many talents. 
ETA has sponsored the Şevki Koru Athletic  Competition and the first Erve Sarfati Classic Automobile Rally as well many local  soccer tournaments. 
ETA has shown its dedication to the arts by printing the  seasonal program of the İstanbul City Theater. 
ETA treats its personnel to films,  plays and concerts on a regular basis. 
ETA is also dedicated to conserving the natural  resources through campaigns and sponsorships. Many nonprofit organizations and  groups such as those for homeless youth and disabled children have received  donations and free programs from ETA as part of an active program. ETA personnel  are encouraged to show compassion for the world around them. ETA has supported
Turkey's candidacy to host the Olympic Games. ETA also supports vocational
 training for young people by supplying free software to schools and  roviding  employment.
